JPEG Maria Josefa Lopez Montes, principal of the Adult Education Center "Paulo Freire", in charge of the seminar in Granada, and Aline Rutily ( Paysage et patrimoine sans frontière association), the project coordinator, organized this international meeting with the much valued aid of
- the city of Maracena, through its Department of Culture and Education,
- the University of Granada, thanks to the intervention of the Doctor Jose Tito Rojo, expert in the conservation of historic and botanical gardens of Granada.

The seminar begins with the reception of the participants, and its opening by Aline Rutily and Maria Jose Lopez Montes. This project brings together organizations from 5 different countries of the European Union involved in education and training : Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian have had the opportunity to present their structure, their country, their groups, their objectives and share experiences and ideas about the project.

This first meeting allowed for project partners to define their objectives and the methodology of the project, to prepare the documents necessary for evaluation, to redefine the action plan, the exchanges, the tasks of each individual member and to give a positive start to this promising project.

The Association Paysage et patrimoine sans frontière presented the collaboration tools that will help coordinate the project and publish the results : websites, articles, educational sheets, virtual book, installation of a cross-cultural carpet …
Thanks to the good weather, the field visits organized by the Adult Education Center of Maracena to discover the Andalusian blue, took place under the best conditions. The participants stayed at the Residence of the University of Granada "Corrala de Santiago", located in the historical center of the city, and visited the Alhambra, the Generalife, La Casa de los Tiros, the Albaycin and other museums for a first approach to the blue of Granada.

This blue is particularly illustrated through ceramics in a story that extends from Reconquista to the present day. It has also been possible to see how these potteries are part of the Andalusian ceramics and how they connect with those of other Spanish provinces, until they become a link with other European cultures.
