JPEG After successfully conducting a first Grundtvig project on the Languages of the Colour Blue in Europe, during 2009-2011, the PPSF association located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye coordinates a new Erasmus + European project, under the direction of Aline Rutily.

This project shall lead to the strategic partnership of 8 European structures involved in adult and school education, until August 2018. This project mainly targets adult education, including groups marginalized by society for a variety of reasons : illiteracy, insufficient qualifications, disability, old age, dropping out of school… A societal problem shared by all the different European partners of this project.
The project also targets students from the partner schools of PPSF, in Ile de France, but also in other areas of France, including DOM and TOM.

We determine in 2015-2016
- a target audience of adults, in particular small groups of young people between the ages of 18 and 25, having left school and unemployed - elderly people in retirement homes,
- a field of experimentation linked to the blue color, which enables them to develop the key-competences which are essential for them, to better integrate into the society and, for the youngest ones, to find or find a job there.

This learning is based on the local heritage in which the blue color is illustrated along the Seine, from the Normandy coast to the Parisian museums and stained glass from the cathedrals to Toulouse and Albi, pastel cities.

The methodology is constructed by the practice of different languages - literary, linguistic, digital - in a transversal approach, where the blue color plays a vector role, through photography, history and art history, design garden, herbaria, personal notebooks …
Emphasis on the acquisition of key skills : writing, documentary research, science, use of ICT, landscape and gardening professions, cultural industry jobs - workshops arts related to history and heritage …
From the path of the blue traced along the Seine, be able to :
- to locate, on the map, the different stages,
- to take an inventory of the blues observed in photography and in words,
- to participate, with these photos and these words, in a collective work installed in the city (street art),
- to write the texts of a personal logbook
- to illustrate it by drawing, photography, painting, collage, calligraphy
- to learn the European history of blue from the collections of museums and monuments in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Paris, Reims, Rouen and Giverny, to write some episodes to put online
- to participate in the various stages of the creation of a garden in the city (from the sketch to the model and the plan, then to its realization with the collaboration of the gardeners of the city)
- to make herbaria and put some pages online in a personal virtual herbarium,
- to participate in an event planned in 2018 to present the results of the project, to expose them, to work on their dissemination (poster, flyer, press article, interview)

The work of the learners will be presented in Saint-Germain-en-Laye in May 2018, for a major international event bringing together the 8 associated partners : exhibitions, symposia, presentation of the results of the project, expansion during 3 years of the Transcultural Carpet Blue created by Aline Rutily on the occasion of a first Grundtvig project.

This module will be validated in 2016-2017 in various workshops and training courses that will be built around the cultural heritage of the city and its surroundings, in the Ile de France, but also in the region of Cahors and Toulouse, crisscrossed by the old Pastel Road.

These workshops will be used to write educational sheets that will take part in the pedagogical module developed within the partnership in the form of a virtual book of good practices for adult educators and educators, as well as teachers of schools, colleges and high schools partners of our action.
